The Children’s Wellness Program specifically targets high-risk youth aged 7-15. The purpose is to decrease drug/alcohol abuse and to address mental health issues that may be a result of family violence. The program utilizes a wrap around case management approach.
What is Wrap Around?
Wrap around programs maintain that the family’s perspective should have the most prominent place in the design of mental health services for an individual child and that care decisions should be based on tapping into a child’s strengths.
